The Division: DRAMS, a division of VOLARIS (an operating group of Constellation Software Inc.) is a comprehensive software solution designed for the distilled and aged spirits industry, managing bulk inventory, barrel management, regulatory compliance, and financial integration. The Position: We are seeking talented Senior SQA Analyst for manual testing. The hired individual will be responsible for ensuring that DRAMS software applications meet functional, usability, and performance expectations. This role involves designing and executing test cases, identifying and documenting defects, and working closely with development, product, and customer support teams to ensure high-quality software delivery. The hired individual plays a key role in maintaining software reliability and optimizing user experience, providing valuable feedback on potential enhancements and usability improvements. The division currently in the process of porting our existing Windows GUI application to a web-based platform. In the initial phase, the hired individual will focus on validating the functionality of the ported application, ensuring that existing features are faithfully retained and perform consistently with the previous version of the product. Additionally, the tester will verify that new features are implemented according to functional requirements and assess whether the transition to web enhances overall usability, accessibility, and user experience. The successful hires will be located and work out of the Contour Software Islamabad/Lahore/Karachi office, working as part of the resource-centre team, as an extension of the division-based R&D department. Role & Responsibilities: Test planning and Execution

• Develop and execute test cases, test scripts, and test plans based on software requirements and specifications.
• Perform functional, regression, usability, compatibility, and exploratory testing on software applications.
• Identify, document, and track defects, ensuring clear and detailed reporting.
• Work with the Customer Care Team as required for the creation and execution of manual test scripts, ensuring that testing frameworks and procedures are used correctly.
• Record and report on test results, including any defects, untestable designs, and other flaws, and work with developers to address and resolve issues.
• Verify fixes through re-testing and regression testing to ensure issues are fully resolved.
• Keep user experience front of mind during testing and suggest usability improvements where necessary.

Process Enhancement

• Work closely with developers, our product manager, and business analysts to ensure testability of requirements before development begins.
• Continuously refine and improve testing methodologies to enhance efficiency and accuracy.
• Maintain up-to-date test documentation, including test cases, reports, and defect logs.
• Promote testing best practices across the team, ensuring a structured and thorough approach to quality assurance.

Required Skills & Experience:

• Bachelors Degree in Computer Science, or equivalent technical Degree; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• 5+ years experience in manual software testing.
• Strong understanding of software testing methodologies, defect management, and quality assurance principles.
• Proficiency in bug-tracking tools (preferably Jira).
• Familiarity with modern test management practices and best practices in quality assurance.
• Knowledge and experience in agile/waterfall methodologies.
• Excellent written and conversational communication skills.
• Ability to work with cross-functional teams to ensure the timely delivery of high-quality software.
• Ability to meet deadlines consistently within defined scopes and project timelines.
