Senior Wordpress Developer

Techversol is seeking a talented and experienced WordPress Developer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in WordPress development and web technologies, with a focus on creating and maintaining efficient, high-performance, and user-friendly websites. The WordPress Developer will collaborate with our growing cross-functional team to implement, customize, and extend WordPress solutions that meet the organizations requirements.

Responsibilities:

• Develop, implement, and maintain WordPress websites based on project requirements.
• Customize and extend WordPress themes and plugins to enhance functionality and user experience.
• Collaborate with designers, front-end developers, and other stakeholders to ensure seamless integration of design and functionality.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to WordPress performance, security, and integration.
• Stay updated on the latest industry trends and best practices in WordPress development.
• Create documentation for WordPress implementations, configurations, and customizations.
• Optimize websites for speed, scalability, and responsiveness.
• Conduct testing and quality assurance to ensure the reliability and stability of WordPress implementations.
• Provide technical support and training to content editors and other users.
• Integrate third-party APIs and plugins for enhanced website functionality.

Qualifications:

• Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Proven experience as a WordPress Developer or similar role.
• Strong proficiency in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and PHP.
• Experience with MySQL and database management.
• Familiarity with web servers, hosting environments, and version control systems (Git, SVN).
• Solid understanding of responsive web design principles and cross-browser compatibility.
• Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
• Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Certification in WordPress Development or related field.
• Experience with WooCommerce and Shopify integrations.
• Knowledge of SEO best practices and optimization techniques.
• Contributions to open-source projects or a strong GitHub profile is a plus.
• Familiarity with Divi, Elementor, Wp Bakery, and Gutenberg Block Editor.
