Job Title: Solar Sales Consultant
Job Summary:
As a Solar Sales Consultant, you will be responsible for generating new business by identifying potential customers, presenting solar energy solutions, and closing sales.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead Generation: Identify and pursue new business opportunities through networking, cold calling and online leads.
- Client Consultations: Communicate with residential, commercial, or industrial clients to assess their energy needs and determine the most suitable solar energy solutions.
- System Design & Proposal: Collaborate with engineers or technical teams to design custom solar energy systems, provide detailed quotes and prepare proposals for customers.
- Sales Presentations: Deliver clear sales presentations to prospective clients, explaining the benefits, features, and cost savings of solar systems.
- Customer Education: Educate clients on the advantages of solar energy, including cost savings, environmental impact, and available incentives (taxes, rebates).
- Negotiation & Closing: Negotiate pricing, tackle objections, and closing deals to achieve sales targets.
- Project Coordination: Work and support the internal teams, including installation and customer support.
- Sales Reporting & CRM Management: Maintain accurate records of sales activities, customer interaction status using Customer Relationship Management (CRM) software.
- Market Research: Stay updated on industry trends, competition, and new solar technologies to provide the best possible solutions to customers/clients.
- Post-Sales Support: Follow up with prospects and clients to ensure satisfaction and address any concerns about the solar system installation.
Skills & Qualifications:
- Sales Experience: Proven track record in sales, preferably in energy, construction, or technology sectors.
- Technical Knowledge: Basic understanding of solar energy systems, electricity, and energy efficiency practices is a plus (may provide training).
- Communication Skills: Excellent English verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to present technical information to non-technical customers.
- Customer Service: Strong customer-oriented attitude with a focus on solving and providing clients with solutions.
- Negotiation Skills: Ability to negotiate contracts, pricing, and other terms while maintaining customer satisfaction.
- Self-Motivated: Ability to work independently, manage time effectively, and meet sales goals.
- Organizational Skills: Ability to manage multiple leads, sales processes, and project timelines simultaneously.
Preferred Skills:
- Experience using CRM software and Microsoft Office tools (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
Educational Requirements:
- BS Electrical Engineering preferred.
Compensation:
- Base salary plus commission (performance-based compensation).
- Bonus opportunities based on achieving sales targets.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: Rs60,000.00 - Rs120,000.00 per month
