SQA Engineer

We are looking to hire a talented SQA Engineer with 3 years of experience with excellent attention to detail and a proactive approach to join our Software Quality Assurance department.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform manual and automated testing on web, and mobile applications using different software testing techniques.
  • Investigate, report, track, and retest defects
  • Identify and analyze test requirements for developing test cases and other artifacts in the testing life cycle.
  • Create detailed, comprehensive, and well-structured test plans and test cases
  • Estimate, prioritize, plan and coordinate testing activities
  • Execute test cases (manual or automated) and report results
  • Perform thorough regression testing when bugs are resolved
  • Ensure that validated deliverables meet functional and design specifications and requirements
  • Use SQL to perform testing at database level.
  • Work within Agile scrum teams; creating and estimating tasks.
  • Ability to escalate issues to the relevant teams in a timely manner.
  • Develop and implement software testing processes and tools
  • Work with cross-functional teams to ensure quality throughout the software development lifecycle

Required Qualification:

  • 2 - 3 years of experience as an SQA Engineer or similar role
  • Bachelors degree in Computer Science or related field from a reputable institute
  • Must possess good communication skills both verbal and written.
  • Experience in web, mobile and desktop application testing
  • Experience of using Test management and Bug reporting tools.
  • Experience on automation using Selenium (with any language), and/or Appium
  • Experience in API testing (postman/JMeter)
  • Strong knowledge of SQA methodologies, tools, and processes.
  • Thorough understanding of SDLC, and automation processes in agile development environments
  • Knowledge of relational databases such as SQL
  • Experience with performance and/or security testing is a plus
