SQA Engineer

We are looking for a motivated Software Quality Assurance (SQA) Intern to join our team. As an intern, you will first gain hands-on experience by manually testing our software system to understand its functionalities and workflows. Once comfortable with manual testing, you will assist in automating test cases using Selenium and Python to enhance our testing efficiency. If you have a keen interest in software testing and a basic understanding of Python and Selenium, this internship is an excellent opportunity to develop your skills and gain real-world experience in software quality assurance.

Job Responsibilities
  • Learn and execute manual test cases to understand system behavior and identify issues
  • Document test results and report bugs clearly
  • Collaborate with the development and QA teams to understand requirements
  • Assist in creating and maintaining test plans and test cases
  • Automate manual test cases using Selenium and Python under supervision
  • Perform regression testing on automated scripts
  • Monitor and report on the results of automated tests
  • Stay updated with basic software testing principles and automation tools
Skills Required
  • Basic knowledge of software QA methodologies and manual testing
  • Fundamental understanding of Python programming language
  • Familiarity with Selenium for test automation (basic level)
  • Good analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to document issues clearly and communicate effectively
  • Willingness to learn and adapt quickly in a fast-paced environment
Required Qualifications
  • Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
  • Some exposure to programming concepts, preferably Python
