Technical Coordinator

KalSoft is looking to engage a Technical Coordinator to support and manage Trade Finance and Treasury-related technology projects. The ideal candidate will bring strong technical acumen with experience in Java development, database management, and system integrations. Prior experience in the banking or financial services sector will be considered a strong advantage. This is a full time onsite opportunity for Oman.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide technical coordination and support for Trade Finance and Treasury-related projects.

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including business analysts, developers, and infrastructure specialists to ensure smooth project execution.

  • Develop and support Java-based components of financial applications.

  • Write and optimize complex SQL queries using Oracle for data analysis and reporting.

  • Assist with integration of APIs and ensure seamless communication between systems.

  • Perform system administration tasks and support applications running on Linux and Windows platforms.

  • Identify, troubleshoot, and resolve technical issues in a timely manner.

  • Maintain technical documentation and ensure best practices are followed throughout the project lifecycle.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Strong knowledge and hands-on experience with Java development.

  • Proficiency in Oracle and SQL for querying and data manipulation.

  • Basic to intermediate understanding of Trade Finance and Treasury applications and processes.

  • Working knowledge of Linux and Windows operating systems.

  • Experience with API integration and RESTful services.

  • Excellent troubleshooting and debugging skills.

  • Strong communication and coordination abilities.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Prior experience working in the banking sector or financial services domain.

  • Familiarity with industry-standard Trade Finance and Treasury platforms is a plus.
