Job Description:
As an Insurance officer at Macrif, you will play a crucial role in supporting our team of insurance professionals by managing tasks and providing excellent customer service. This position offers flexibility and the opportunity to work in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.
THIS IS NOT A SALES POSITON!, THERE IS ZERO SALES PRESSURE! PAID TRAINING SHALL BE PROVIDED FOR CANDIDATES WHO JOIN US BOTH FULL TIME AS WELL AS PART TIME.
Job entails, but is not limited to, the following:
- Quoting on direct as well as indirect carriers
- Collect data and inserting it into agency management system
- Using the agency management system for document management, chalking out acord forms, renewals, as well as reminders
- Coordinating and collecting payment in a timely manner
- Dealing with general agents/brokers
- Dealing with clients including generating insurance certificates
- Chalking out PFAs, following up submission via DocuSign
You will get the opportunity to work with insurance professionals with over 2 decades of insurance experience.

Additional Responsibilities:
- Client Support:
- Respond promptly and professionally to client inquiries via email, phone, or chat.
- Assist clients with policy inquiries, claims submissions, and general insurance-related questions.
- Provide exceptional customer service to ensure client satisfaction and retention.
- Administrative Assistance:
- Manage calendars, schedule appointments, and coordinate meetings for insurance agents.
- Prepare and process insurance applications, policy documents, and other administrative paperwork.
- Update client information in the database accurately and maintain organized records.
- Documentation and Data Entry:
- Input client data into the agency management system with precision and attention to detail.
- Organize and maintain electronic files, ensuring confidentiality and security of sensitive information.
- Generate reports and assist with data analysis as needed.
- Marketing Support:
- Assist with digital marketing efforts, including social media management, email campaigns, and website updates.
- Help create marketing materials such as brochures, newsletters, and presentations.
- Team Collaboration:
- Collaborate effectively with insurance agents and other team members to streamline processes and achieve departmental goals.
- Communicate efficiently with colleagues to ensure smooth workflow and timely completion of tasks.
Requirements:
- Three years of experience in banking, finance or accounts.
- Proven experience as a virtual assistant, administrative assistant, or similar role.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively.
- Proficiency in using Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) and familiarity with CRM software.
- Experience with any agency management portal is a definite plus.
- Any exposure to the US insurance market will be a definite plus.
- Knowledge of insurance industry practices and terminology is a plus.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- High school diploma or equivalent; additional certifications or relevant coursework is a bonus.
- Must be legally eligible to work in Pakistan.
- Residents living at Bahria town will be highly preferred!
