Job Overview:

We are looking for a Data Scraper Intern to assist in collecting, processing, and analyzing data from various online sources. This role provides an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on experience in data extraction and analysis while collaborating with our data team to derive meaningful insights for ongoing projects.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain Python scripts for web scraping across different platforms.
  • Extract, clean, and organize large datasets for analysis.
  • Identify new data sources and optimize scraping techniques in collaboration with the team.
  • Perform quality checks to ensure the accuracy and reliability of collected data.
  • Write well-structured, documented, and efficient code.
  • Manage and structure data for reporting and further analysis.
  • Troubleshoot and enhance scraping scripts for better efficiency.
  • Communicate effectively in English when working with the team and preparing reports.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Strong proficiency in Python, with experience using libraries such as BeautifulSoup, Selenium, and Scrapy.
  • Excellent written and verbal English communication skills.
  • Good understanding of web scraping methods and best practices.
  • Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
  • Detail-oriented with a strong focus on data accuracy.
  • Adaptability to new tools and technologies as needed.
  • Willingness to work night shifts (7:00 PM - 4:00 AM, Monday to Friday).
  • O Levels or equivalent qualifications are preferred.

Preferred Qualifications (Optional):

  • Familiarity with data cleaning and manipulation tools (Pandas, NumPy).
  • Experience with databases such as SQL, MongoDB, or similar storage solutions.
  • Basic understanding of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.

Potential candidates who successfully complete the internship may be considered for permanent employment.

Job Types: Full-time, Contract, InternshipContract length: 2 months

Pay: Rs20,000.00 per month
