Lead Video Editor
Department: Creative & Design
Location: Office 307, 3rd Floor CEMTECH, NSTP, NUST, H-12 Islamabad.
Job Type: Full-time (Onsite)
Work Schedule: Monday to Friday plus one Saturday per month.
Office Timings: 10AM to 7PM

Job Summary:
Were looking for a proactive, process-oriented Lead Video Editor to manage and grow our in-house team of Video Editors (VEs) and Graphic Designers (GDs). He will lead execution across client projects, improve workflows, train new hires, and act as the primary point of contact for specific client accounts. He will be instrumental in fostering a collaborative, high-performance creative team aligned with Skylifts standards and values.
Key Responsibilities:
Team management & supervision:
- Lead day-to-day operations of the VE and GD team across multiple projects.
- Manage project allocation, oversee timelines, and ensure delivery quality.
- Act as the bridge between clients, internal team and creatives—translating feedback into action.
Client communication:
- Serve as the primary POC for VE-based client accounts (outside of SMM).
- Lead client check-ins, gather feedback, and communicate timelines and deliverables.
- Maintain client satisfaction through clear, timely, and empathetic communication & meetings.
Workflow & system optimisation:
- Identify gaps in current systems and implement solutions to improve speed and quality.
- Deploy tools to automate repetitive tasks and boost productivity.
- Define & implement KPIs for creative performance and introduce measurable systems for improvement.
Talent management:
- Lead the hiring, onboarding, and training of new Video Editors and Graphic Designers.
- Conduct performance reviews and offer ongoing feedback for skill enhancement.
- Build a culture of ownership, learning, and growth within the creative team.
Trail task management:
- Collaborate with video editors in the sales department and increase the trial tasks acceptance rate.
- Improve win-rates by refining briefing systems, quality benchmarks, and feedback loops.

Qualifications:
- 5+ years of experience in a creative or video production role.
- Prior leadership experience is a strong plus.
- Proficient understanding of video editing and graphic design workflows.
- Strong communication, delegation, and time-management skills.
- Familiarity with creative tools and automation softwares.
Growth path:
This role will evolve into a Visual Strategist role, with expanded authority across client communication systems, team capacity planning, and creative hiring strategy.
