Job Overview:

As a Quantity Surveyor, you will play a crucial role in managing all costs related to our civil and office fit-out projects. You will be responsible for ensuring that our projects are completed within budget and to the highest standards. This role requires a keen eye for detail, strong analytical skills, and a solid understanding of the construction and fit-out industry.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare detailed cost estimates for civil and office fit-out projects.
• Conduct feasibility studies to estimate materials, time, and labor costs.
• Analyze project specifications, drawings, and contracts to prepare comprehensive budgets.
• Monitor and control project budgets, ensuring costs remain within the agreed parameters.
• Assess and negotiate contracts, ensuring fair pricing and compliance with industry standards.
• Prepare and submit regular financial reports, highlighting any deviations or potential risks.
• Conduct valuations and manage the payment process with contractors and suppliers.
• Collaborate closely with project managers, engineers, architects, and other stakeholders to ensure seamless project execution.
• Provide advice on cost-saving strategies and alternative materials or methods.
• Ensure all work is carried out in compliance with legal regulations and company policies.

Qualifications:

• A Bachelors degree in Civil Engineering, or a related field.
• A minimum of 4 years of proven experience in the civil and office fit-out sector.
• Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, and legal regulations.
• Proficiency in relevant software such as AutoCAD, MS Project, and cost management tools.
• Excellent analytical, negotiation, and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
