Team Lead Storyboard Artist

Videozlab is seeking an experienced and highly creative Team Lead Storyboard Artist to join our dynamic team. As a Team Lead Storyboard Artist, you will play a critical role in mentoring junior artists, ensuring the smooth flow of creative processes, and overseeing the production of high-quality storyboards. Your leadership will be key to aligning your teams work with client expectations, ensuring deadlines are met, and providing artistic guidance to drive successful project outcomes.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and Mentor: Manage, guide, and mentor the storyboard team, fostering a collaborative and creative environment.
• Storyboard Creation: Review scripts and develop engaging, frame-by-frame storyboards for explainer videos with detailed scene directions and dialogue.
• Team Collaboration: Collaborate closely with animators, project managers, and other stakeholders to ensure the seamless transition from storyboard to animation.
• Client Interaction: Maintain strong communication with clients to ensure the visual direction aligns with their vision and objectives, incorporating feedback and refining storyboards accordingly.
• Creative Direction: Brainstorm and develop innovative visual concepts with your team, guiding them through the creative process and helping refine ideas.
• Project Management: Ensure that project timelines and deadlines are met while maintaining a high standard of work.
• Stay Current: Keep the team up-to-date with industry trends, animation techniques, and creative tools, promoting continuous learning and development.
• Performance Oversight: Evaluate and support the performance of team members, providing constructive feedback and helping them grow professionally.

Requirements:

• Minimum of 7-8 years of experience in storyboard creation, with a strong background in explainer videos or animation.
• Proven experience in leading and managing a creative team.
• Expertise in Adobe Illustrator, Adobe Photoshop, After Effects, and Adobe Premiere.
• Strong skills in character design and visualization for explainer videos.
• Exceptional artistic and visual storytelling abilities.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with a knack for managing client relationships.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a creative team.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines.
• Passion for storytelling and creative problem-solving.

Salary: 100,000 - 120,000 (per month), plus additional benefits
