Job Summary:
Nexus Healthcare Management is seeking a detail-oriented and compassionate Clinical Support Specialist to enhance our Care Management team. This role is pivotal in providing clinical and administrative support to care managers, ensuring efficient coordination of patient care, compliance with healthcare regulations, and seamless communication between providers, patients, and payers. The ideal candidate will have a clinical background, strong organizational skills, and a passion for improving patient outcomes.
Key Responsibilities:
Administrative Support:
- Schedule and confirm patient appointments via phone, email, or scheduling software.
- Prepare and send reminders for upcoming appointments or follow-ups.
- Maintain and update patient records in the electronic medical records (EMR) system.
- Assist with insurance verification and pre-authorization processes.
- Manage incoming and outgoing correspondence, including emails and faxes.
Patient Interaction:
- Serve as the first point of contact for patients, addressing inquiries with professionalism and empathy.
- Escalate complex patient concerns to the appropriate medical staff or departments.
- Collect patient information and update records during virtual check-ins.
- Provide patients with instructions for telehealth sessions and other virtual services.
Office Coordination:
- Manage daily workflows to ensure timely communication between patients and medical staff.
- Coordinate with medical providers to ensure schedule alignment.
- Organize and prioritize tasks to meet deadlines and maintain clinic efficiency.
Experience:
A minimum of 02 Years of telehealth experience in a UK or US-based Healthcare Company is required.
Education:
MBBS degree and 01-year house job or D Pharm, Nutritionists, physiotherapists with clinical background preferred.
Skills & Competencies:
- Knowledge of medical terminology and EMR systems.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English language.
- Proficient in using scheduling and communication tools (Microsoft Office, telehealth platforms).
- Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and adhere to HIPAA regulations.
- Excellent Verbal & Written English Communication
- Critical Decision Making
- Strong interpersonal, organizational and data entry skills
- Empathize with patients needs
- Proficiency in Microsoft Suit: Outlook, Word, Excel
- Experience of working with EMR Software
Compensation & Benefits:
- Salary: According to the skill set.

- Working Days: Monday - Friday
- Job Timings: 6 PM - 3 AM PKT
